Located at the corner of Freeport and Fulfs Roads, our you-pick flower patch offers fresh blooms all season.
Come wander through the rows of flowers, creating memories and your very own fresh-picked bouquet.
How it Works:
Please use the field entrance located at 30040 Fulfs Rd, Sterling, IL. Park in the grass in front of the blue shed. Stop by the you-pick stand to grab clippers and a picking vessel (a 24 oz cup or 3-gallon bucket). If you choose a cup, feel free to use one of our pitchers to help you carry your cup around the field and prevent it from tipping over. Our you-pick patch is set up to be self-serve. That said, we are frequently out working in the field, so there’s a good chance someone might be available if you have questions.
Arrival
Head to the field and pick any flowers you’d like. Take your time strolling through the paths, enjoying the sights and smells. We encourage you to snap some photos. If you share them on social media, please tag us @sugarcreekyoupick – we love to see your finished bouquets!
Picking Your Flowers
If you borrowed clippers or used a pitcher to carry your cup around the field, please return them to the you-pick stand. These items are property of Sugar Creek You-Pick and are not for sale. If you didn’t do so before you started picking, please pay for your flowers before you leave!
When You’re Done
Admission is $5/person – whether you’re picking or just coming to look. We have two sizes of vessels to choose from: A $10 cup (a single bouquet), and a $45 bucket (enough for making multiple arrangements – great for DIY event flowers!).
Pricing examples:
- One person just coming to look or take photos - $5
- One person picking one cup of flowers - $5 + $10 = $15
- Two people sharing one cup of flowers - $5 + $5 + $10 = $20
- One person picking one bucket of flowers - $5 + $45 = $50
